    Dr. Michelle D. Mitchell is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology department at Clark Atlanta University and a licensed psychologist. She completed her graduate studies at Kent State University and her post-doctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry at Grady Health System. Her research interest is in the area of cultural factors that impact wellness among African American women and teaching strategies that improve learning among undergraduate students.
