I have a Psychology Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Post-Doctoral Master degree in Clinical and Translational Research. Currently, I am an Associate Professor at Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU), Puerto Rico. I hold a joint position at PHSU’s School of Medicine (SOM) and School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences (SBBS). Under my current faculty position, I devote 65% of my time to leading and co-leading trans-disciplinary population health research projects. Moreover, I have experience providing service to the community by partnering with local community-based organizations that provide psychosocial care to cancer patients/survivors. Additionally, I deliver mental health care to cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
