This pilot project will aim to explore Navajo parent/guardian perceptions of ASD including barriers to accessing services, adapt the Parents Taking Action, an evidence-based community health worker intervention to increase parent knowledge of ASD and child social communication, and conduct a feasibility pilot trial of the adapted intervention with 10 Navajo parents/guardians of children with ASD ages 2-12 years.
