Narrative icon

My research interests are in the areas of molecular biology and gene expression, cancer biology, and therapeutics. Our research goal is to investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms of arsenic toxicity in various carcinoma cell lines including colon and lung and breast cells. Research activities in my laboratory include i) studies to evaluate the apoptotic mechanisms, oxidative stress, and genotoxic mechanisms; and ii) to determine whether arsenic trioxide induces changes in associated with arsenic trioxide toxicity.
