    Dr. Colón-López received her doctorate in epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Health Services Administration and Policy at the School of Public Health, University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus and Investigator at the UPR Cancer Center.

    Research interests include epidemiology of Human Papilloma Virus infection, and infectious disease malignancies among vulnerable populations such as MSM, and HIV positive individuals. She is currently the Co-Leader of the UPR/MDACC Outreach Program (NCI/NIH) and the Program Director of the Youth Prevention Program (SAMHSA)
