Dr. Maribel Campos Rivera is a triple Board Certified Pediatrician with Subspecialty in Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine and Diplomate in Obesity Medicine. She holds degrees in Health Care Administration and Clinical Research. Dr. Campos is a Robert Wood Johnson Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Alumni with over 10 years of experience in research ranging form patient outcomes studies to clinical trials. As a Professor of the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus she has mentored students at different stages of training in their development as researchers. Her more recent work focuses on the effects of perinatal and early childhood exposures on an individual’s health across the lifespan, and community action projects fostering a culture of health through science education and mindfulness strategies.
