overview My research interests related to Translational Research are applications of advanced statistical modelling to a variety of clinical and biological data. They focus on: Survival analysis – Cox proportional hazard model, maximum-likelihood (ML) methods, parametric and non-parametric statistical estimations. Dimensionality reduction techniques- principal component analysis (PCA), factor analysis, discriminant analysis, and cluster analysis. Monte-Carlo methods. My main research expertise is in water-mediated macromolecular interactions. We developed statistical models for interactions between polar surfaces (proteins), between hydrophobic surfaces (lipids) and between grafted polymer brushes (biopolymers attached/adsorbed on surfaces).
