    Dr. Swaraj S. Tayal held postdoctoral positions at The Queens University, Belfast (1982-1984) and at the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge (1985-1988). He was Assistant Professor Research at LSU, Baton Rouge (1988-1991). He came to Clark Atlanta University in 1991 and presently he is Full Professor and Interim Chair of Physics. His research interests include computational atomic physics and Laboratory astrophysics. He has published 148 peer reviewed research papers in the leading physics research journals such as the prestigious Physical Review A of American Physical Society, The Astrophysical Journal of American Astronomical Society, Journal of Physics B of Institute of Physics, and Astronomy & Astrophysics of European Astronomical Society and wrote two (2) Book Chapters and one (1) Review Article as a result of independent research program as well as a result of team efforts. He has made 122 scientific presentations at National and International scientific conferences.
