In this position I encourage faculty to remain pedagogically and academically current in their respective fields. I plan, implement and execute multimedia tools for professional development related higher education
curriculum; produce instructional digital products including DVD series, television broadcasts, and related
multimedia products; train and support faculty in using Canvas LMS to improve student learning outcomes in face-to-face
and blended/hybrid courses; coordinate with faculty and administrators to update and develop hybrid courses; oversee and manage pilot programs for new technologies in higher education including research; work on a case-by-case basis to help faculty solve pedagogical problems with technology tools; teach faculty individually and in groups on how to use new technology tools, or to use existing tools in more pedagogically effective ways; present at regional higher education conferences and local academic technology events; conduct faculty workshops that enhance teaching and learning and oversee video production projects.
