overview Dr. Shiramizu is a Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Tropical Medicine, Medical Microbiology, & Pharmacology at the University of Hawaii (UH) John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM). As a pediatric Hem/Onc physician, he has 20+ years clinical translational research experience at JABSOM (18 years). His pediatric clinical research experience includes being a member of the Children’s Oncology Group Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) Committee and active in clinical trial study protocol development and implementation since 1993 (Children’s Cancer Group, Pediatric Oncology Group, Children’s Oncology Group).
