My primary research interest lies at the interface between chemistry, biology, and medicine. We employ biological functional assays to identify modulators/inhibitors of various cellular processes and pathways that have been implicated in cancer. Once biologically active inhibitors are identified, they will serve both as chemical probes of the biological processes of interest and as leads for the development of new drugs for treating cancer. I completed my Ph.D in chemistry from India, completed a fellowship in Pharmacology and molecular sciences at Johns Hopkins University in 2006.
